  1. Mr Google says 'If you watch or record TV programmes in a second home which is a touring caravan or vehicle, or a boat, you do not need a separate TV Licence; you will be covered by the TV Licence for your main residence"

Correct Mr Google knows all lol

  2. We had the arch on our Falcon 27, hinged, around £700, nice and simple.

They separated the arch at its attachment points and installed 2 plain SS hinges, nothing flashy just practical, finished off with 2 SS lever locks to keep it in place when the canopy is down.

I'm not sure if i can put an open post to tell you where we had the work done , but please PM me and I'll be glad to point you in the right direction,

    Cheers

  3. Hi Doug,

We will drive up on the Friday after work and stay on 'Juan' we will drive over on the Saturday morning to meet up and see how we can help. I'm more than willing to help JA  with the  heating and tank or anything else. Lulu can make Tea and wants to take a million pics to chronicle the works !!!!

    Cheers

Too many of these new micro breweries seem to think if they can cram maximum hop flavour in to a beer then it’s a sign of quality , they don’t seem to understand that an ale need to have a balance of flavours .

my current favourite ale is Adnams Ghostship which to me has got it just right , I just wish that Greene King hadn’t ruined their Abbott Ale which when it was brewed at Biggleswade was IMHO  the best ale there was .

Agreed, I find a pint or two of Ghost goes down well, I was born and raised in Biggleswade and can honestly say that some GK ales have got better with time and some have not.

I did work at the Brewery for a time, back in the 70's

  5. Lulu and I lost some very dear friends over the last few years, I personally lost 4 mates, my best friend  that I grew up with and one of my flying buddy's plus another 2 good guys, all in their 50's, that's what got us into buying a boat.

We always said 'when we retire' well bugger retiring and waiting we are doing it now so we can enjoy our future together on the Broads and beyond.

To live long enough to see my 18 year old daughter graduate from uni and have a settled life and to see my beautiful granddaughter reach her teenage years ( or older if I am lucky)..........

Very wise Grendel. "Lycra" is not the defining factor between idiot cyclists and sensible cyclists.

true, but I'll always prefer 'the Green goddess' to Sir Bradley wiggins in a Lycra contest

Does my cycling proficiency test from the 70s count ? Oh loads of road sense too :default_beerchug:

Indeed it does and your road sense, it is as i said the mass of riders that forge off down public roads riding 5-a-breast across the carriageway with no regard for anyone. Cycling should be safe and fun not dangerous.

Well we have cyclists on the roads....

With no insurance or registration or test or ' road sense' most of the time. I'm not anti cyclist, I'm anti cyclists that believe they own the highway whem the decide to hold a road race on the active A14 in the middle of the summer.

  10. I had to basically do the line design for our Falcon logos as they are discontinued for obvious reasons, sent them to the guys below and the results were superb.

I would highly recommend them very good price wise too.
