Found the link at the top of the page. not very clear what it is.
It's the little circle underlined at the side of 'About The Broads' think it's a camera icon.

I could have used my nuclear toothbrush as an example rather than a phone charger. The toothbrush needs a pure sinewave 240v input to start the nuclear reaction but only draws .000007 of an amp.
That is to say would a powerful inverter draw the same amount of juice from a battery as a less powerful one when on the same load.
Yes I killed 2 toothbrush chargers before realising it was the cheaper 150w inverter that did it.
Recently bought one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076P9PGX3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Looks a well made unit, have used it but not for the toothbrush yet, stuck to mains for topping those up.

Hi John, I always charge the phones from a 12v socket with a usb adaptor in, think that is better than using an invertor for that.

This is the one you want.

It's the best i've tried and i've had several different ones over the years including the one you are looking at.
It does need a 12v power supply.

Thanks for the recommendation, i'll try Alan next week, Got a couple of months to sort it, will have to see how busy he is.

It's that time for me again, it appears BSS examiners are very busy at the moment, my old examiner has recently retired so i'm looking for recommendations for an examiner to do the boat in the Beccles area, any suggestions would be very welcome.

I'd check the prop you have on to start with, on mine the original prop was 17x12 never had a problem until changing the engine from a BMC 1.5 to a slightly larger Nanni. Started to seem to struggle against some tides, on checking the prop we found it had been 'refurbished' several times in its lifetime including once when i first got the boat, and it had lost an inch in the diameter. (just remeasured it now as it's a garden ornament) went with the standard size for a new one and what a difference it made.

Sorry to hear that Simon, hope you have a speedy recovery, you may have to recuperate on the boat.
Remember when i had my mate on the boat for a week the other year after he had broken his ankle.

then on to Beccles where we have booked into the Yacht Station Friday, Saturday & Sunday
I should be in Beccles over the weekend, only to work on the boat. Got a blocked toilet pump out to sort out .
It will give me chance to do some other outstanding bits too before we are back in June for another week.

Not sure I would want to do 522 miles on that in one go. Nice bike by the way.
I wouldn't either. Took the trailer. Have thought about a run to the boat on it though.

I was only planning getting a small 125cc bike to runaround locally on. For me it would have been going full circle, first 125 at 17 was a Kawasiki 125 f6 trail bike, some of the scrambler type retro bikes coming out now are very similar, was worried 125cc would be a bit underpowered so went for a 250. Still in the process of buying it, watch this space for a photo when it arrives.
Finally! After 3 weeks waiting, due to a minor fault found during the pdi i picked the new bike up today.
Just a short trip to Poole and back to pick it up 522 mile round trip.
