looking at the photo with one in each corner, they don't appear to be getting on with each other.

There is a link for the flag (burgee) at the top of the page.

Last year we had just over 8 foot when we went under. We timed it for near low tide. High tide it was close to 6 foot.

We mud weighted there for the first thing last year. It was a lovely hot sunny evening. Only spoilt by some inconsiderate nit coming in at about 10:30 playing loud music and dropping their mud weight close by. We soon got back to sleep. We will be doing it again in August when we are back.

Great review, enjoyed watching it!

Have you tried ceiling speakers? They sometimes have acoustic back boxes.

Just a reminder, there is no quiz tonight. Ignor the banner announcement.
Liberty will be hosting one next week.

We tried Swallow after Neil's recommendation. Excellent boat, great service too.

A few years ago we took my Daughters family with us and thought it would be good for the grandkids to have a dingy. It was excellent from the fun perspective, and really usefull at Ranworth when we moored on the Island. Two trips both ways had all off us ready to explore and eat on the staith.
The were two drawbacks, one already mentioned by Jeff. The other was the frantic activity when you started going astern only to have one of the crew shout "the boat". Easy to forget it was there when you don't usually hire one. It was close to being an ex boat when I turned around at Norwich.

Good quiz. Well done.

We have been a couple of times, the food and service have been excellent. As said watch the currents as you moor. It is sometimes a bit unpredictable there.

Did you try it through the app store icon on the phone? Then do a search for tapatalk. Already loaded on mine so difficult to check.

I have only once had a problem at Norwich. The first time we moored there in 1985 we were told to put the mud weight down, which we did. During the middle of the night there was a lot of loud shouting, and we looked out of the window to see a boat floating passed. They were shouting to try and wake them up. I got dressed and out just in time to see this sleepy head look out of the window in disbelief. They through out the ropes and were tied up again. It turned out that some lads had been reported as running through and undoing lots of ropes. Ours too were undone, but we did not move as the mud weight was down. I always put the mud weight down now where ever I moor.
