  1. Thanks for a Good tale,I think you capture what the Broads is all about, but please don't tell everyone how nice it is in winter otherwise we wont be able to moor anywhere! :naughty:

And before I bought Bobella I hired from a few times Richos and can only endorse what you say about the good set up they run

  2. Nice looking vessel looks right at home at broadsedge too

I keep mine at Richos stalham and think the upper ant is one of the nicest rivers around the broads and you don't need to sail far to find an idyllic riverside mooring, yes it is busy during the Holiday periods but a bit of forethought and you wont go far wrong

  3. Bobella got clouted whilst moored up at Paddys lane last saturday even with me helping the couple moor they still managed to go astern with more revs than my paint and grp could handle :cry

But as the offending boat was a hire craft Bobella will be repaired ok

  4. Me personally would stay North if only out for the week, why waste all that fuel tearing about and have a steady cruise around instead,But if I was out for 2 weeks then a steady cruise down the southern Broads would be my idea of an holiday

  5. If, as you say the southern side is so popular why have all the yards closed,I agree what your saying about it been less busy down that side but there has to be a reason the southern yards closed in the first place,If WRC have chosen to run there boats from Horning surely its there choice as its there business after all!
