had made an enquiry to the B.A. re- moorings down stream of Ludham bridge , accordingly i received a reply , " there are no B.A. free 24 hr moorings Down stream of Ludham Bridge ". The moorings opposite the boatyard for two boat lengths after the bridge are Parish moorings  there is a " demasting area " on the same side as the boatyard  all other moorings are private .

Which is of no use what so ever if the wind is blowing from the West, ,S. West or due South . However probably nobody in the Broads Authority would know that - or be able to understand why :facepalm:
