I have just noticed ( I eventually do ) that my total posts is 642, I thought it would be more.

Is this because I had a previous log in name and I could log in with either name?

During one of the major changes my old log in name disappeared. ( captmatt ).

It's not a problem, just curious now I have spotted it.

It could be that, with a wife and effectively 3 step daughters and a granddaughter and I don't like to interrupt, so get little chance to speak up.

Paul, Hi.

A few years ago we changed over to a new thingummyjig and in doing so we lost quite a few things, your old name included, it seems.

I too lost nearly a thousand posts, so you're not alone!

As to your last para, my solution to this is a visit to the Hockham Eagle!   :wasted:
