ChrisB
The numerous Budlia are now beginning to fade in my garden and have flowered exceptionally well this summer but there has been hardly a butterfly to be seen. At the end of May I saw more Painted Ladies than I have seen for many years over the Erigeron and Hebe but they don't count as they migrate from North Africa. All I can put it down to is the very cold and wet weather we had at the end of October and start of November 2016.
Baitrunner
Funny you say that. On Saturday at the dessert rats memorial on the 1065 there is a yellow budlia. Never seen so many bees and butterflies. Maybe the yellow ones attract them better?
