Another couple of hours after work has produced a few more perch. Gave a new spot a try using dropshot worm and had quite a few. Nothing massive, biggest about 1lb, but all good fun. No photos as phone battery was dead as usual

Will have to try this drop-shotting lark. In the meantime I catch using soft bodies worms and jigs but maybe I'm missing out.

Soft lures on jigs is my preferred method. However there are days when they don't seem to want to chase and dropshoting is then the method to use. Definitely worth a try.

Dropshotting is proving very effective especially on steep sided banks, canals and moorings, keep tackle light and it is great fun.
