Londonlad1985
I know this is way off the mark as far as boating on the broads goes, however I found it so interesting I had to share it. (Basically all the Victoria line stations have a unique piece of tiled art) it's interesting to know if you ever pass through when in town. Someone I know wrote a blog about it. http://goingunderground270.blogspot.com/2018/09/victoria-line-motifs.html?m=1 2
SwanR
Goodness ... 50 years since the Victoria Line opened ... where has that gone?! I still remember that. Growing up in North London we went everywhere on public transport. My dad commuted into Green Park every day and I remember travelling with my family on the Victoria Line and being interested to see the different tiled pictures. Thanks for the memory!
chrisdobson45
I'm a regular on the Victoria Line (Tottenham Hale to Green Park for the Jubilee Line two or three times a week) and was aware of the tiled art but had no idea that there was any significance to the pieces. Loved the blog, every day is a school day..
