senator
Hi Perry, It is recent local works that caused the concern, they are pulling in new cables so have dug a trench across the Swatch, this has been filled in but the earth they dumped back has not settled yet leaving quite a few of those saily types aground. It is still officially closed but VTS are giving permission to transit through all be it without one of the buoys and after consultation with the working vessel. As to fuel we have been very pleased with Clanny's drinking habit's so far this trip with the overall consumption pushing 1 and 1/2 to the gallon, at that rate it brings Niewport well within Clanny's safe range from Lowestoft. Guest
Might want to look at a nasty stinky tractor oil engine or two more like Good to see you had much fun with our European neighbours and their (strange)waterways, and a safe passage each way. All our best to you all. Phil and Carron
