Windows 7 Homegroups

Recommended Posts

Hi

We have just bought ourselves a new desktop after the old one died.  I have tried to create a homegroup to share files between the laptop and the desktop as both machines are now on Windows7.

The laptop can see the desktop files, but the desktop keeps telling me that there is no other 'person' connected.

Have been through everything I can think of, and have browsed the internet to no avail (at least for a numpty like me!)

Has anyone else had this problem and come up with a solution?

Thanks.
