Just heard there is a hire boat high and dry between the surlingham ferry and bramerton.

Trying to find pictures and report.

This was from a friend who went past them earlier.

Havn't seen it, I came up there earlier.

I saw a pic somewhere. Looks like it moored up on the newly banked north side that's finished with stone-filled gabions and spattered with No Mooning signs this year. Got stuck on the gabions by the look of it. 

 

I've had no reports of it, but it looked like a Horizon 35.

Really? I hardly would have thought those types would desist when presented with a mere sign.

I doubt it - this was from yesterday afternoon so I would assume it has been re-floated by now.

 

Bizarre place to moor unless they had a mechanical fault. Although at high water they wouldn't have known about the dangers beneath unless they had been down that stretch of river before..
