help please

2 pics of the rear of a lucas ignition switch can anybody help me out with which cables go on each terminal . Terminals are only numbered. Please dont ask why I want to know I feel stupid enough as it is

Don't tell me Newf! you did what I did, took all the wires off and forgot to note down what wire goes where,,,

I had the same problem Colin, when I put in a new switch in our dash. The problem was the new switch and the old looked the same on the back but worked differently inside. A multi-meter soon sorted out what went where though!

you are all correct but to make it worse it was on a mates boat but all sorted now phew
