  1. Just to follow up on the Comma Oil, you can get it from Wilco in Great Yarmouth or there shop in Norwich, the Yarmouth one is down by Sainsbury's and the Norwich one is on Salhouse Road Hope this helps Robin.

  3. Hi JohnT, try your local independant garage as all the ones round here use Morris and they should be able to get some for you, Unipart also used to make an oil for older engines I think it was called Unipart Green but dont quote me on this. Robin.

  5. Hi Ian there is an antifoul that is made for outdrives and outboards as it is made for aluminium, you should be able to get it from Norfolk Marine. Robin.
  6. If you are going to do the work yourself then try the yards at Wayford Bridge the one on the right going up river will do the work for you as well if you wish. Robin

Having been let down and messed about with 2 of the broads based testers I took our boat to Boulters in Horning, Keith Boulter took about 2 1/2 hours, it failed. as Keith went through the boat he explained what had failed and how it could be rectified had no complaints and they were happy ti do the work I was unable to do. If you need a BSS test give them a try. Rob in.

  9. Hi all, a number of years ago there was a wooden day boat on the hard at Acle Marina and I was told that it was called Beryl and used to belong to George Formby, this was restored at Russell Marine in South Walsham. Robin.
  10. Hi Jonny, has your boat got a full shaft drive or a hydraulic drive if hydraulic is there enough oil in the holding tank, worth a look. Robin
  11. we moor our boat at Acle and there is a boat in the mooring called "IV KINELL", but our children said we should name our boat after our house so its "CLAYPITS TOO"
