  1. We have seen Cranes on the stretch from Stokesby to Yarmouth in the side ponds. Magnificent birds.

As have we. When we put our sighting on the forum a few years ago we were told that we were wrong as you don’t see them here.

  2. Austin 1100? Best leave it where it is. Biggest pile of rust I ever owned - and I've owned a few!

I know where there is one “brand new“ with no miles on still in showroom condition in fact it’s still in the showroom, in Famagusta Cyprus.

  3. Is anyone aware of the cruiser moored on the BA moorings at St. Olaves? I've noticed it for a good number of weeks now and see that the curtains are shut. I hope there aren't any occupants. You never know now with all the stories about heaters and carbon monoxide etc. etc. Or could it be broken down? in which case its taking rather a long time for repair. Or is it just someone trying to have a free mooring for the winter? It doesn't look like the average liveaboard. Anyone know  the story?

  4. Crossing Breydon 20.07. Sun going down, so calm and peaceful then .... yow!!!!

The RNLI rib with full crew going like a bat out hell, blue light etc etc. Hope it’s only an exercise and that no one has come to harm.

  5. Ludham. In a garden down the road I can’t remember the name of but it is at the end of the footpath from Womack Dyke moorings. (If it’s not that one, they’ve got one just like it!)

Yup thassa one. Afraid I’m not in charge of dishing out the prizes but I expect someone will pop round and see you soon with a little something.

Gordon Bennet. £2995? Wouldn’t be so bad if it were the right model or had a couple of blowup dolls in the back window. Still no rust on the bodywork. What would Rodders think. This time next year they’re bound to be millionaires if they can sell three wheelers for that price.

Moored at north cove at the weekend, spotted these fine fellows. No matter whether they’re dairy or for beef what is like to know is what happens to the horns on their demise? Is there a market for them? Chinese or sold to the yanks to put on the bonnets ( hoods) of their 4 X 4’s? or do they just go with the rest of the carcass for chocolate or whatever? I might have had a couple in some Asda burgers at sometime or other.
