not sure but when we went out for week end couldn,t decide which boat to take as a tender so took three walker bay with sial and electris out board good green option................... middle boat was a collection so picked up on way past it mooring, work and pleasure good mix don,t miss an opportunity ,,my ole mother would say " never go past empty handed !!!!????" too rite i say three bird one stone the dory style was for play ,sneaking dun the dykes and going out for a quick midnite run ..... here is the bunn"september tide " in the shed , so sad as part way through the tidy up works the owner died ,but the family wished it finished he had owned it since 1972 she was in very good order too and one of "iris" on tour with us and family .good nite at neatishead and a wobble hum as i remember hic ..opppss josh caught a pike that nite and the dog maddie went orf for a triple salco dive while running orf the end of the quay heading not bad score from onlookers several 7s and 8 s but we gave her a 10....!!!! i did smile for the camera honest .......

need some info on this one ................................. and the next one is a odd ball built in 58 from top grade bruzl ply wood hull quite modern then yer now with a strange fwd drive position ,which is copied today on the canal s by many a stellie bulit in leicester from a little boat company "orme and son" for the owner he made serveral types from long and short and aft cockpit too they went into pastic one later too and we have seen some here on broads nice little boot too they were she was built to cruise the narrow waters ,but in later life went from thames to fens to broads so travelled a bit now with me in moth ball state but all complete and original with vedette on belt drive under galley sink she was always mistaken for a converted police launch she has been from nearly to the lock on the northwalsham canal ,ran out of deep water , to geldeston and rite up to norwich past the last bridge too now this one is a navy boot built in the 40s for the her twin engines and fast hull enabled the admiral to inspect the fleet quickly double diag plank work, we have lifted her several time s over the yrs this was her last lift with us we stripped the paint off her for inspection then she went to be rebuilt and she has been done but looks completely different now but done very well with modern engines and all new stuff .................i prefer her look in pic this is how we go on holiday .......................silly i know but we had fun ..................all 24 of us some off our extended family from bristol, norfolk and bristol combine look out hotel ................................... we take a translator .!!!!!!......................alrite mee bubbers........!!! difficult to pee and drink made the air port larff...................................

yes i dd and yuo are correct barry she did do many a sea trip too when we head about her she had we think been lincs for a while got one for mike and barry lifted many aboat i have and load more to do too....... oak wood coming out for look a the bum and annie coming out from her long stay in water from norwich next one is of a bunn leaving us a sad ole day too ................. she was a big ole girl complete original inside too what a gem like this one september tide was a gem and owned by a very nice chap and cleaver ole dog too he was ...................... she left us to go far away and was last seen in a bit of a mess ohh dear ..... been gutted too ....................

number three work shop is full with secret stuff under wraps ......shhhh................ some nice ones in err fast and very slow ....!!!! outboards to do alot this time old and new types too we doo all large and small too had alittle sinking narrow boot to sort out on new yrs eve just on way home when got asked to help jon boats 24 hours ........opps soon had it in slings and in the air ....... river was frozen solid and hard frost on yard no water out orf taps ..........................no tea.....umphhhhh!!!!!!! busy with engine works in work shop this week go back to yard on tuesday, may be to sort boat works out yippeeee still working on web site in eves too, down load pics and info and got to collect some more boats next week so good start to new year and more to come orf to help the boys band later with local gig so burst ear drums and wobbly walk humm for me lay in bed till 7 am to moz and then poss lead **** around take full trialer of garden rubbish to boot yard and sneak in and out then poss up to nukmber three workshop to do sum stuff for me pull out the race stuff i feel and thrash coming on so better build me a fast engine........well i can try ....... ohh and beeter clean work shop up it a bit messy ,i did wash floor today to get rid orf some grime .love painted floors ,so mr mop came out and swept 1/4 of it only another 1000 sg feet to go !!!!!! as its cold and no heat in this shed i stand on carpet and ole floor matts to save me ole feet so radio on and not to loud to upset next door and start stripping them outboard s even sneaked in to the shed of doom today and breased the moggi..oppps meant greased her ...!!!! just need a few more hrs in day and extra hand s .......... got so dirty today had to de cloth me self in utility room and orf to shower as wiffe says ,yer dirty and daughter say i stink long hot shower and treat me self to a shave no odour orf stale pertol or cellluslose paint no brutt for me just a quick quirt of wd 40 ........nice pic of a carb bowl with residue or what we call pertol gum left from when the liquid has vapoured off and the good ingredients left behind ,not ............!!!!!!!! this was last job so leave it to clean later and strip rest of carb and clean as it should migth run and start too

not only rescue boats but collect the odd car too...................love a moggy pic of the name sack the cover from the racing outboard 650 xs a proper mercury race engine from the 1970s 3 cylinders and 90 hp 850 cc used on cats to mono hulls from all over the world in the 70,s yes we do do strip the carbs ...!!!! and this is why little bits and contamination also water ingress not uncommon now the road was alot worse at the yard ,think its bad now .....................!!!!!! not really its wales solva bay nice bay great walks and the wind did blow too.................... now boy lift this one up ...................... some will reconize this one its a stretched foster from 30 to 44 only a few left now more recent one in a fire !!!! this one had bad luck too, went to yarco and later sank twice with new owners .........last seen on quay side in yarmouth ohh dear now that i,m looking back i see how many boots have been and gone of all shapes sizes over the years pic of the bottom of a steelie having spots ground , done to gain access to ultra sound the steel to test for thickness she was in good shape for a mid 80.s boat plenty thick was stripped back to bare steel with wet blast system and then epoxy painted ,thas was a great job to do all suited up and once yer start yer can,t stop i finished this one about 1.30 am in the morn

its sad ole doo indeed we love our pets like no one else and a loss is like an old friend or if not family loss all i can say is .......................... he or she gave all they can and you equal the amount it sounds a bit clinical but but ............... a pet is for there life and enjoy it, always a wag, a meow,chirp or gulp, it says it all god bless the animals we love them all wild or pets.........................long or tall a sad ole day indeed my heart goes out to yuo one and all .............. jon a dog lover and bird lover, not the feather s, don,t tell the wife ......!!!!!

a bit orf topic but some of today new yrs eve in norflk 2014 land on way to yard and at the yard too cold ........slipppery and nearly are over *** too frost so thick on rudds this morn yard froze too water pipes froze and booots froze too icicles on tractor tyre one silly sod came to take boot out ohh dear if only rung first ....... but all good with hands fantastic no numb hands ...luxury...

blimmey neglected this one a bit so up date for ole queen well work have gone on all year on her she has new roof ,decks and beams new cabin side new correct window style new scrim on roof s inside is coming along with a new paint job and tidy up all new feul and water tanks hull had been sanded back into shape and some dogey planks removed wheel house foof removed cleaned and under coated ready to paint all joints glued and epoxy stainless screws and all painted and sealed bared woood inside and out all new beams are mahog or oak all plywood is top grade marine paints and epoxy are top too no cheapie stuff here she had alot more hidded stuff to correct and alot more time and money needed for this one bottom still do do will be last as is in good order too just for info sha has had three dosing of five star all over of coarse more pics to come bit short on time must get to work ........ bit mixed up sorry ,but yer get the gist .....

hello mark your are part rite about the brokers around these parts who we know and work with very closely with some of them as we have for years we have run our own boats sales for a little while but only small but as demands dictate we have a larger interest in boat sales due to a great success in selling over the last few years we are always willing to work with others as we have done for years at the end of the day ....it about the sale of the boat then the business next ,we all need to pay a mortgage and some commission is better than none ................. we have a little team to look after the boat sale side with web site viewings and meetings customers etc etc so they are kept busy i,m jus the tea boy who pokes his nose in and badly some times ...... remember we always want boats to sell ,from large to small from posh to ruff an all.............................we love them all sorry for delay i of question just found it .......jon

waheey some ole pics too nice one i,m not sure but i think we have a complete one on yard in quite good order too i will look closer but i think its a geo smith come to think of it poor ole girl she was in a state when we collected her it was a fun ole day for all we took two attempts to raise her up first was a reckie to asses if we could get her up quick and float for the trip second was with extra pumps and tow boat and more traps to rap round her hell to keep her together for trip as we are greedy we towed another back on that day too .well got to be done ...... with a polite call from the ole river authorater ...what if it broke up on way runnd they say ,......????? i say it was all wood and wood of floated ,,,.......!!!!! at least we have one of mr fowlers big unns the broom

here are some more ..... err the Vikings have come ,posh one too we used to have visits from some huge skiff type boots ove the years some times they would come in all at once and do a cruise from here to thar .... can,t beat a contrast a Italian sports boat built by a small family boat yard on the Italian Rivera for the very well to do with big ball s as these have got 500hp in them perfect for a quick dash to potter nad back remember this one poor old girl we brought her up from bottom then towed her back to yard with a a very nervous tow we did it sadly she broke on her trip up the slip ,well been sick for along time big ole bessy she was too sat at toad hall womack for yrs remember !!??????? is it me or is the road dry and no boat s on it blimmey must be early days

back to work ................................... slowly but slow .......................... boys busy with queen boys busy with others too got some loverly woodies in at mo halff day here half day there................................ launch on christmas eve of a nice clean sports cruiser looking better than when it came here lots of rain still a few frosts but not hard on coast has been warm yet a few miles inland back at yard we have had frozen puddles been busy at home with family and updating new web site ,takes alot of time seen a few fisher men and some go dunnn river too in thar ole boots i,ll wave as yer go buy hope the heatrs work..!!!!! lots of swans too will have to move for us to align trailer up
