My own view is that these old gaffers put a Chinese gybe into the mix for badness. It would scare those who knew and mystify those who didn’t. ⛵️

The May date is too soon to do the NBN meet. Later in the year sounds much more realistic.

I loved the Spirit yacht they took up The Grand Canal in the Bond movie, now that had proper stuff like masts and sails. -
I remember seeing the stuff in the British Museum and being bowled over by the beauty of the shoulder clasps and belt buckle.
Phill and I went to Sutton Hoo a few years back. It’s very atmospheric -

I watched this Netflix movie last night. It was brilliant, I thought. Sutton Hoo brought to life, and Rafe Feinnes producing a creditable Norfolk accent, apparently Diss was the reference.

I used the CC at Eastwood Whelptons you book via the boatyard. It’s at Upton with direct access to the Dyke and a great village pub.
The field is quite exposed in windy weather, so check the forecast.
I saw CC provision at Hippersons Beccles too that is right on the river. -

Many thanks Steve. I forgot when I won the tiebreaker against Nik that I had arranged a Zoom talk for the WI on ‘Sex scandals and secrets of the Royal Court from 1660 to 1830’ by a speaker on the Hampton Court Team! WI is usually Thursday but we moved nights to accommodate this speaker. 😋

Got the racks done from the caravan fridge cost was either £40 or £60 (not sure which) and they look new.

Sorry to read your sad news John. Once the death certificate is issued you do what Neil B says, use the Tell Us Once service. Leave all paperwork and accounts untouched and hand over to her solicitor. It is the responsibility of the executors to do all the arrangements.
Rufus is best off where he is and you and Taxi can move to Nyx 2, cats are fine with boats.
There is no hurry to do any deciding. Take your time my friend. You are stronger than you think.

I only just found the Netflix series on F1! It’s a fascinating alternative look at how F1 operates, not unlike an adrenaline filled soap opera!
I thought the race was good on Sunday, but miss the live presentation.
