I have Bennet Trim Tabs on the back of my Bayliner, this provides extra lift at the back to get it on the plane sooner, ive also found it planes a bit slower.

Quick Maths by Brian OK say the kit cost £ 700 approx for a conversion kit for your TDI car / van you need to install yourself other wise it will cost about £ 500 to install You would need to use 1400 litres of Vegy Oil to make that saving. Which on one of our vans is about 23 Tank fulls. The engineers get about 450 miles out of a tank full. So would see about 10,500 Miles to make the money back for the kit, which is about 4 months of driving for them. A dual tank is the way to go, as you need to get the diesel engine hot on normal diesel before changing over to the Vegy oil. So all in all its a long term savings plan,

A few weeks back i was driving the Stretch of River from Wroxham to Coltishal I arrived at Colltishal, with the engine juddering, seemed it needed more power to maintain the same revs. I lifted the outdrive to find the prop jammed up with weeds. A Quick full power, in reverse and then forward, saw all the weeds shredded into Lentil Soup. On the way back the prop jammed up about 3 times. I'm no expert on this, but it either sounds as if the prop is wrapped up in something ?

The ole Bayliner had 1.5 mtrs of chain on a rope for a mudweight, needless to say it wasnt much good.
