Great holiday tale thanks for sharing with us. Lovely to see your family enjoying the Broads as we did when our children were young.

Yes pump not turning off sometimes. Not sure about the pressure in the tank.

You can fit an inline pressure switch in the pipework after the pump so it cuts out when the right pressure is built, I assume it is getting to the right pressure.
Yes pressure ok

Hi Floyd I would suggest you drain the water from the diesel tank before you move it or start the engine, All The best John
Agree drain water out, change filter and run it for a while before going on the river as i don't fancy an overnight drift to Yarmouth 🫣

I remember going in when it was the Eagle in the 70s as a child. Also nearly bought it 5 or so years ago. The pub sign was in the museum at Stalham last time I went there.

Hi Mark just checked our last bill 86 units used 6th sept to 6th dec @ 19p per unit plus service charge total £32.00. Don’t know if they class a unit the same though. Battery charger and a dehumidifier coming on 4 hours a day, 2 tube heaters in engine bay.

Have a look at Auto Aid breakdown cover. We've not had to claim off them but they seem the best value out there.
