Just to confirm boat now Sold and deal complete after a successful survey this morning. New owner moving her to better suited waters. Also confirms if price, presentation, honesty and you have good advertising you can still sell a boat privately and at this time of year. Also prooves there is still nice genuine buyers on good old Ebay. Buy it, sell it, love it, hate it, still best marketplace Also a small shout out for Pam at Broadland yacht brokers in Horning, she offers good advice and advertising packages. Also very friendly and polite. If you are reading this and thinking of selling your boat she would be a good start. Now the search seriously begins, itching already!!! aministrators feel free to delete thread if needed.

Hi JennyMorgan, Yes fully understand that, but for the asking price we are asking we feel this is good value for the boat. I will keep the thread updated with the progress of the sale. We always check this forum for private owners selling when we have been searching in the past, so its a good base to place an advert.

IMHO The Richardsons Horning Marina is one of the best around & we love it here. Love what you guys have done with the place and superb facilities. But Clive is there any plans on clearing the dyke leading to the main river? Well done -

So planned our little trip ''down south'' for next week, as said not been down past yarmouth for quite a few years so really looking forward to it! Passing down via yarmouth at low tide on monday afternoon and would like to head oulton broad / beccles direction first. Can anyone suggest a nice stop over place. with good pub/food between yarmouth and the bottom of the waveney? if not might just head straight for oulton !

Good evening everyone I have been reading / researching planning for ''new dwellings'' (not replacement) in Horning for some time now and it appears there is many restrictive covenants and also a very restrictive planning policy for waterside locations in Horning. I havnt spoken to anyone from BA as yet, but was wondering if any of you very knowledgeable chaps on here could explain any further for me. I have dealt with many restrictive planning policies in the past, but in this area its seams a solid dead end! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Shaun

Oh yes we sure are, I thought we would fit in more down south I know old beccles is a no go, but didnt know there was a low one in Norwich, is that the only way to get to the city centre?
-
I have heard that about rockland before, does anyone know how shallow it can get? are the depths upto Norwich ok?
-
Hi All We have 2 weeks planned in mid september and would like to take in all the southern broads first. Not be down south for many years, last time was on our trusty old Ocean 30. Any new / interesting places we should visit? Good pubs for stop overs? Any shallow river level area's to watch out for?
