  1. Just to let everyone know that there is a new breakfast menu at the Bridge Inn which is proving very popular. Avaliable Monday through to Saturday with Sunday roasts back on the menu too. Also special dine for £9 deals available Monday to Friday.

Having been a regular visitor to the Bridge for the last 17 years I can personally vouch for the level of quality and service offered.

Purely for the sake of research Mr Nog. The Broadland marina bar has 4 hand pumps, only three on currently. Adnams ghost ship. Greene king ipa and Lacons fireside.

I can confirm the ghost ship is very drinkable :default_beerchug:

Your dedication to research is admirable MT sir

I will make an effort to visit next time :default_beerchug:

Stamford Arms is overdue for a return visit too.

  3. Reedham Ferry had two cars ready to go. Sent my deck totty forward to communicate with the Ferry man but he very kindly waved us on even though we were a way off :1311_thumbsup_tone2:

Saw a flappy thing near Langley Dyke too.

  4. He used to lurk on Rockland I believe. Maybe some info on Carol's site

It could be bird scarers, seemed too loud for a shot gun. Certainly no ducks for Mrs Nog's corn, probably scared them away too.

  5. I suspect Ferry and Richardsons have put a limit on Stokesby. Not seen another hire craft since we've been down here. Very quiet and peaceful :default_biggrin:

Anyone know what the loud bangs are over the marshes at Reedham?

  6. If anyone wants the electric at Reedham there might be a slight technical hitch :default_norty:

Having said that it's so warm you wouldn't need it anyway. The thread title still holds good :default_biggrin:

Looks like the water has been over the top at the Ship quay, never seen that before.

No, it's not gin o'clock Mrs Nog, we are just waiting for the tide :default_norty:

  7. Good morning from muddy Reedham :default_biggrin:

Levels do seem to be dropping, 9 feet under Somerleyton

Very quiet on the OBYS pontoon this morning :default_norty:

Thought I detected faint snoring but could be wrong

Do they allow dogs in the caxton club and what's the secret to being a non member? We always make the walk to butchers arms when in beccles, a proper pub.

The Butchers is an excellent pub, as is the Ingate

Sadly dogs not allowed in the Caxton Club, not sure why. We are CAMRA members so get in on that pretext but they may well let you in if you ask nicely :default_beerchug:

Oops sorry NorfolkNog. didn't mean to hijack your excellent thread.

Don't worry Mr Angler sir, compared with the Ram thread this is a minor drift indeed..... :default_rofl:

You jumping on the train to Beccles or staying in Oulton? You could do worse than give the bar at Broadland Marina a try.

Thanks for the heads up, aiming for Beccles initially but will wander over if we get chance

    Do they sell any beer?

  11. No, I'm with you 101% there MM

I don't use Facebook and wish businesses wouldn't just assume that everyone does. It's especially annoying, for example, if a pub announces it's closed on FB and you don't find out till you get there. T shirt etc
