I will have to make sure I have my camera ready when on that stretch of water, I just know it will be the day I don't it will come out to play.

Hi Col,
The result in the water is quite amazing, I'm very pleased. Is your drive / steering all OK now ?
Paul
Yes Paul, with a couple of modifications to the steering helmet went on a treat, all working fine thanks.

Looking great Paul, glad it all worked out well and your modification planned out well. She certainly is sitting nice ans square in the water now.

Hi John
Can you please put us down:
HJ3 Friday & Saturday stern on & lecci..

Saw HJ2 at WRC when i was down, nearly knocked on the door, so to speak, but then realised you had got to number 3, and the bloke in HJ2 would have wondered who I was...
Glad you realised before knocking on the door, could have been a very interesting conversation..

Wow!! what a fantastic weekend, it was great to catch up with everyone and meet new friends. Must say, did have a bit of a sore head this morning after going to bed at 3.30am. The weather wasn't fantastic but did have a few bright spells but whatever it through at us it couldn't break our spirits.
-
And how would one of those ever look fantastic.
David, shall I get your coat. lol!!!

Excellent,
I was thinking more a Bravaria like a certain forum members boat.

Very sad news indeed.
Our thoughts go out to his family & friends.

When are you planning to be on your boats over New Year??
We will be out on the Thursday to Monday over the NY period. If anyone is about it would be great to catch up, maybe go to Brammerton, Surlingham etc. etc. May even give the old girl a good thrashing over Breydon.

In the last few weeks I have fitted a Status 315 omnidirectional digital aerial to HJ3 the reception has been fantastic at Reedham & Brundall, even worked going down the river, with some distortion obviously. Went to the boat at Reedham last Thursday after the switchover, had to re-tune, now have over 80 channels. all with perfect reception.

Looking great Andy!! It was good to catch up with you at Oulton Broad yesterday, glad the new navigation lights came in useful.

Hi md
Great to have you on board. I am sure you will enjoy the forum and don't be shy, we are a pretty good bunch on here.
Where do you moor your boat?
-
Very sad loss indeed, 52 is no age at all!!

Hi Clive
I found the ICC a good starting point, provides all the basics you will need to get started. Including basic chart plotting, CEVNI rules & regs, Col regs, navigation signs & lighting, MOB training and more. Furthermore, The ICC licence gives you proof of competency to enter European waters.

Well, what a cracking Birthday Bash!!!
As previously been mentioned, thank you John & Mary-Jane for organising what turned out to be a fantastic meet, you too have a direct line to him upstairs when it came to ordering the weather. The other person is another story, more on that on the Salty Bottom section later.
I am sure everyone had a great time. It was great to be together with friends new and old. On that subject I would just like to add... If it wasn't for the NBN we wouldn't know all the great friends we have met over the past several years, so here's to the NBN
Now the Raffle!!
I thought I would hold a small raffle for everyone who joined us at Coldham Hall to help raise funds to support the cost of running the site. As most of you know, any funds raised over and above the annual site running costs we donate to a worthy charity. I am so pleased to announce that we raised £92 in the raffle and managed to top it up to £100.00. Thanks to everyone who contributed raffle prizes and purchased the tickets.
Now a few pictures.....
