There is. Very serious point to this post. Having listened to the BBC today and heard a representative from Basildon Council and also from the travellers as well as the UN I ask the following questions why has no charge in 10 years ever been levied for the electricity and water that they plumbed intothe site. The waste us removed to prevent it being piled up and dumped and yet the defence for all of this is that 'it is the human rights of these people to live in this way. The BBC went on to say that one of the more vocal families are multiple millionaires fighting a large planning case in Eire and that, despite the law at every level supporting Basildon Council the UN say the eviction is illegal
Your thoughts?
I think you will find quite a few of them are millionaires, I know, we used to service all their brand new Mercedes-Benz. Not just one in a family but two or three Mercs. Even then they still felt they shouldn't be charged. They used to walk into our showrooms and blatantly steal coats and other goods in front of our eyes, then rely on intimidation when you approached them. Didn't wash with me, on one occasion I locked a young traveler in my office until the police arrived after he threatened my staff. His farther then threatened to block off our site with caravans. Bring it on I said but you wont have much of the caravans left when my technicians start on them, of course it didn't happen. It is amazing how reversing the intimidation can work.
They are all scum and parasites and I for one will be glad when they are kicked off the Crays Hill site. The only problem is they will they will only move on to another area and start again.

I have just watched it and thought it was ok. It was always going to be a little like seaside rescue to make it interesting for everyone.
The RNLI do a fantastic job & if they can earn some money to support their services, it can only be a good thing.
Worth a view!!

How do I stop the neighbourhood cats using my garden as a loo?
They all seem to descend on me .... scratching up young plants and the stench is disgusting.
I have considered poison as I consider them to be vermin but I am worried in case an unsuspecting dog or child licks it up.
I have heard cat owners describing their animals as clean? Well you would think that ...... they don't s**t in your garden!!!
Any recommendations gratefully received.

ill be fishing most of the broads
at my upcoming holiday
only after smaller fish realy
up to say 3lb would say size 10 to 14
hooks be sufficent....float fishing
and what type of fish can i expect
I normally fish using 14/16 hooks when float fishing but of course it is down to personal choice.
You can expect to catch Roach, Rudd, Bream, Perch even the odd Carp. Eels will always find your hook especially when on worms a maggot. Fishing has been very good over the past few years so be prepared for some good fishing.
Have a great holiday and don't forget to update us with your holiday and fishing tales.

Don't worry Neil, other half is a nurse so we have a full stock of medicinals! A liberal coating of antiseptic was applies to the little cut.
So you allowed the swan to bite you to be nursed yet again.

Hi Clive
It is great to see a plan come together, you must have been so proud seeing her float for the first time.
What a fantastic looking ship and great choice of name.
Thank you very much for keeping us all up to date with the progress through to the end.

Well done John. You were very lucky.
As you now if that was me I would either be getting wet again or paying out £200 to the diver.

No, not racist at all!
As far as double standards, We stopped all trading with them over a year ago when we had the issues. Fact!
Just for the record, our town recently had our friendy travellers, meet on a farmers field, over 300 caravans. Asda' had to shut on 4 times in one day because they were filling trollies and walking out with the stollen goods & intimidating the staff.
Is this acceptable NO!!
If the cap fits...
