Polly Posted May 15, 2016 Share Posted May 15, 2016 I spliced a soft eye in one end of my mooring lines and attached a carabiner clip. These are not for high tidal variations, I have plain ones for that, but work a treat on the northern rivers, clip to boat - line to shore; being sailies the lines are stowed when we are under way so this is quick and easy. On the mooring I have made lines 'to length' and attached to the quay heading, with clips at the boat end, so tying up is fast and mooring lines stay clean for out and about. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
