Marine Engine From Aston Martin?

Recommended Posts

Found an entirely nostalgic advert .....

My Dad used to work for these!

I found this amidst a huge list of vintage adverts being ofered on fleabay and have just spent a while delighting in some of the stuff I actually bought, used or even wished for!

Have a browse! I'm sure you will find something that you once wanted or even bought!

This is the 4D engine which was fitted in the old Thames Trader lorries. Totally indestructible but very heavy and very noisy.

I have seen them fitted in the old twin engined Freeman cruisers and several old hire boats.

There was a 6 cylinder version, also marinised by Parsons, but I forget what they called it.
