SwanR
The cover did make a real difference. We don't generally bother with outside covers for windows, can't be doing with clambering around the outside of the boat, but this was well worth putting on every evening.
MauriceMynah
Careful folks, some of those "draughts" might just be intentional ventilation. Blocking them all up might not be such a good idea.
mjt
MM, I'm sure you're well aware that there is a significant difference between "intentional" ventilation and the gaps in canopies that direct an icy blast onto the back of ones neck. MauriceMynah
Yes I am aware, but are you telling me that a slightly loose fitting something or other isn't left like that rather than spend extra cash on fitting ventilators. I think not. I am not saying that every draught is intentional but I assume that you are not telling me that every one is unintentional. If I remember correctly, I did advise caution, and I did say "some"
NeilB
If I remember correctly BSS examiners did not take into account any gaps in canopys etc. Any ventilation had to be permanently installed with recognised vents.
