Impeller grease

Hi Guys

What is the best stuff to use to grease up impellers when you first put them in. I have some bog standard waterproof grease, or a tube of silicon grease. Either of those any good?

I was going to suggest Vaseline, but seeing as you lot on here are so rude, there may be some sordid comments .

Almost anything slippery will do as impellers are water lubricated and the grease is only there to cover the first few seconds running and to help insert the impeller. But silicone would be ideal as it is very slippery. Also KY Jelly, Vasaline or Anusol would work.
