Love The Broads

Despite visiting the Broads several times a year until this week I had never come across this

It is a spin off from the Broads Trust and raises funds for projects around the Broads

For what will be obvious reasons I have mixed feelings about it!

Ray, that's not to say that it doesn't do some good work but knowing something of the history & personalities involved I do have some misgivings. However that's for folks to decide for themselves, as I say, some good work has been done.

I agree that the projects they have supported are very good but it concerned me that around 50% of the donations they received went in Salary costs last year..

That to me seems far to high a percentage, people who support what is a very good idea to raise money for projects that are very worthy would expect the bulk of their donations to be put towards supporting them.

Ray, if you don't mind me asking, where did you pick that 50% salaries figure up from? As you probably realize there is a BA involvement!

I did realize about BA indeed in the 2016/17 accounts it states BA gave them a £10000 grant partly for additional staff!!
