Surely it would be less hassle all round to take an RSPCA van and pick up some 25kg bags of water softener salt from Wickes or similar rather than the appeal mobilising an army of wellwishers handing in their 500grm tube of Cerebos. Not really the North Coast, they are just east of Lynn.
