A14 Cambridge - 40mph Limit Gone!

Sorry I'm late with this but I didn't know until last Saturday that the 40mph limit around the north of Cambridge has now been lifted. I did see a few cones at the side of the road so they may be putting restrictions back while they plant flowers or something but we got home in 2 hours instead of 3!

They’ve been gone for over a month.  Now the roadworks on the A14 have been completed, the journey to and from Norfolk is much less stressful, although the traffic has been lighter anyway due to the pandemic.

Do still take care as they are due to start some maintenance on some of the junctions which will reinstate the 40mph average speed cameras again , 

now is it cynical of me to believe they are only doing this a pre upgrade completion the A14 average speed cameras were amongst or even the most profitable cameras in the U.K.
