If shower empty's into bilge not only can it smell but bilge will continually be wet/damp which can cause wicking into the gel coat causing Osmoses, and mould on under side of decking just fit a Gulper pump to drain hole with a on/of switch on shower wall, these pumps  can run dry without harm as they have a diaphragm, noisy but efficient.  if fridge has no exhaust you can get a exhaust kit from makers easily fitted provided fridge not to far from hull or cabin side .John

If you're intending to use that old 3 way fridge on gas all the time, it might be prudent to check whether the boat is currently using Calor Gas or not.

If it is (and assuming that the miserable time we have had in getting Calor Gas bottles refilled over the past year or more is set to continue), you may well be better to swap over to FloGas or similar alternative supplier.

Most forum members know that the company's stated reason for the supply problem is a lack of empty bottles. There are plenty of empty bottles out there but we want them filled and won't give them up without receiving a full replacement.

Catch22 or what?

Maybe they should provide a "refill your bottle" service if they are not going to manufacture any more new ones!
