Remembrance 2011

Recommended Posts

Just a quick reminder that if you haven't yet, poppies are available from many outlets for a donation of your choice. Remembrance is just that, for remembering all those that have given their lives for our liberty in both times gone by and in todays conflicts. Tomorrow at 11 o'clock will mark the time where those souls will be remembered, with Sunday Remembrance services up and down the country and the Celebration of Remembrance following on Sunday Evening.

We must never forget those who gave their lives so we could be free, heroes each and everyone of them.

We must also never forget all those who fought for us and lived on, they are the ones the money the poppies raise helps.

For the first time ever I actually bought my poppy overseas, last month in Gouvia Marina on Corfu.
