The test for me a CT and the camera,I was in lots of pain.Thankfully that's improved a bit. There are triggers with some foods that cause pain and discomfort. I'm keeping a food diary.Yesterday fine until about 8.00,then pain.May of been Due to piece of Swiss roll of all things. So yet again another fight. Gracie
Another fight on your hands, a fight I'm sure you will win. Your strength is amazing Ian. I am so sorry for you and your family and for what you are going through but this illness has picked on the wrong guy 4
dom
Sorry to hear that Ian. I suffer with diverticular issues too, but just got told the issue and it stopped there, so I had to figure things out for myself. Hopefully the food diary is indicative of your getting more help and proper follow-up. Mine was made worse by lactose intolerance, so I've switched to lactose free everything - but the main issue for me was very high fibre foods, particuarly things like sweetcorn. I'm the 3rd generation to suffer in my family. My grandmother had similar issues and rigourously avoided tomato seeds and cucumber skin, which she thought was an issue for her. Fingers crossed you get some answers so you can help figure out your own trigger foods soon.
