Brian
Is it today or tommorrow fishing season starts. I counted 8 rods out in the Wroxham Area, all a bit sheepish i must say. When does fishing season start ?

Brian
Thats why they were a bit sheepish then No one on the banks, just off boats, and a undercover set up on Bridge Broad
Broadsword
I will gladly hear the confessions of any NBN fishing season transgressors... Perhaps you could provide me with a special confessional Bri?

pks1702
Passing through Oulton Broad on Saturday - outbound there were a number of rods on the bankside with their owners gently whistling in the air. I was too far away to see if one had a beard and a bottle of Captain Morgan
Broadsword
Now, now... That's a bit naughty :-D I don't think the gentleman concerned would be among the sinners... I'm not a fisherman either Brian - We always have some keen fishermen on summer camp, and I don't mind having a go if someone else is there to do the fiddly stuff like getting them off the hook! On a nice day it can be quite restful and therapeutic.

Broadsword
No, probably not Brian, but then again, we might sink quite a bit of beer and keep the tackle nice and clean :-D !

VetChugger
Mudweighted in the corner of Surlingham Broad yesterday in glorious weather, dangled my hook for a few hours and caught not a thing! Very peaceful though. Trevor www.normanboats.co.uk
Antares_9
Only one way to be sure Trevor.
pks1702
My fishing friends were on the river Trent Barbeling yesterday full of anticipation....... Same result as Trevor, they retired to the pub to drown their sorrows. 16th June is always an anti climax but us anglers just love tradition :-D
