I was going through some bits and bobs and remembered I had a You Tube channel long before I started doing the 'Captain's Blogs' going back 7 years when I was all into photography and video and had a bunch more time on my hands.

 

Filmed in July 2011, the video below was the first time I had been on a boat in over a decade, and the first time without my family - so all things considered what with all the yachts everywhere I did not do too badly - all filmed on a very cheap and cheerful camera it inspired what regulars have become used to from me.  It was in October that same year the first Blog was done - edited each evening onboard and uploaded to You Tube from the boat and a few days into this the title 'Captain's Blog' was born.
