scanner help please

hi peeps

i have a huge collection of photos that i need to scan onto my VISTA comp.

does any one know which scanner will work with vista

i dont have room for a scanner printer.

it does not need to be anything special.

you are more than welcome to borrow it for a couple of weeks if you like.

It works fine with Vista and can also scan negatives.

Its very time consuming scanning pics though.

i have 12 years back log of boaty pics and history of the riverside from railway sidings/ flood meddow

to flats etc.

being a sado, most of my pics are boaty.

I have a Canon scanner which is about 5 years old now, which I no longer need. If I can locate a Vista compatible driver for it, you are more than welcome to it, as I have a combined Printer/Scanner thingy and the old one is taking up room.

I'll PM you if I can find a driver.
