Gone are the days when all we had to do was walk to the water's edge and drop our kayaks/canoes into the water, clamber aboard and set off. ExMemberBobdog
As always the EDP is a bit late with the news. The canoe trails have been published on the BA/Enjoy the Broads website for at least two years. Nonetheless, the fact that the BA are making it easier to access the water is a good thing. Less experienced, or in my case less agile (these days) paddlers don't always find it easy to drop safely into canoe/kayak from a bank/mooring, so any slope/ramp that makes ingress/egress easier is welcome. fishtone
There is a new purpose built slipway at Belaugh. A lovely stretch of river and very quiet.
ExMemberBobdog
Ssshhhh ... that's one of my favourite places to put in. Used to be good even with the muddy bank over to the left of the 24 hour mooring as you look at the river, but even better with a proper slip. Only trouble is there's only room for about 4 cars to park, so if too many people know about it ...
