Thefts at Hardly Dyke

Not sure of when they were carried out (possibly between Sunday and midday today)but there have been a number of fuel thefts at Hardley Dyke. Several boats were broken into and fuel stolen. 

Petrol was the object as cans were stolen, emptied and then chucked into the dyke. I had two remote tanks in the cabin on my little Mouse. They took the one with about 1 1/2 gallons in but left the virtually empty one. 

Don't wish to be the harbinger of doom, but if you moor at Langley Dyke or Rockland, it may be worth checking your boats.
