With more and more cars having auto parking on them, not mine I may add, I was wondering how you are placed insurance wise IF the system fails and you hit other stationary vehicles? Just a thought....

We have a new Hyundai i10, which is easy to park anyway, so no problem, you can get in places that bigger cars can't.

It is always the driver that should be in control, and liable for any accident caused.....

 

If you do have a little dink while parking, get out, because people/cctv will be watching, and leave the other car owner a note.....

When I was about 18.... some years ago...

I parked my dads Cortina, and reversed into a TR7....

When I got out, I noticed the bumper on the TR7 was cracked...

The tow bar was at the right height to hit the plastic bumper full on...

I tore the top off of my f ag packet, went into the WH Smith shop where I parked and bought a pen, I wrote my details, and was just putting the f ag packet cardboard into the crack when the TR7 owner turned up...

He asked what I was doing, so I told him I had just reversed into his car and cracked the bumper...

He said, don't worry, I did that last week hitting my garden wall....

 

It wouldn't happen now a days.....
