Evening Flight, is that still Jamie Campbell's boat? She's been totally rebuilt but I believe that she has yet to be refitted. Trouble is that Jamie has moved to the North of the county.

yes, as far as I am aware..

She was built off the same plans as Ladybird but with normal transom,

she was Herberts second attempt at his own boat (after Ladybird) the keel rudder, rig and various internals were transferred from Ladybird when he got upset and put Ladybird on hire! some of the bunk boards still have her name on them (apparently ) the original name to evening flight was 'my lady'

Clive, I haven't been down to the Excelsior Yard lately but that is/was where Jamie is/was working on Evening Flight. Last time I was down there I thought what an excellent job was being made to her but it all appeared to have ground to a halt. I'll ask the ol' bugger.

P.S. haven't forgotten about Dad's pike.
