Well Saturday just gone saw the payment of our holiday on the broads with silverline marine and can't wait to visit some old haunts and explore new parts of the broads with the family, I now know many of the members boats so if you get frantic waving from a middle guy and his family as we cruise by don't be surprised :-) 7 weeks and counting, just hope the weather holds out!

cheers

Good luck with the weather

Yep I. Hoping it will be an Indian summer as they say, bit late in the year but was the only time I could get off and ties in with the rest of the crews holidays, have had late holidays in the past and they have been ok, so fingers crossed....

cheers

Hi Ray

We had a week at the end of September last year and the weather was glorious, not as busy as main season either...... Will be back this September.

By the way we had Silver Elegance back in April and its a lovely boat. Colin and the rest of the Staff are great.... Just couldn't find any faults.

One small thing, not a fault.

If you intend to cook onboard it would be handy to take a pair of oven gloves as the grill doesn't have a handle (it's the slide in shelf type....not a grill pan) otherwise it's a bit tricky when turning food.

We were so impressed we have booked again for next April

Hope you have a great time

Thanks for the heads up! We tend to take a few basic tools anyway, like tongs and good quality bottle openers, torches, hammer for the rhond anchors etc they usually come in handy, really looking forwards to it, I need a break :-) and a few beers.

cheers

Hi again

Everything else is pretty much supplied and good quality .... Even the mallet for the rhond anchors but we are the same, we have a "Boat Box" that stays packed with our essentials (which now includes a pair of oven gloves :) )
