when I was learning to fly, they came by while I was in the air....
9 flew in formation, and they looked great, the flying instructor said
"well that's nine of them, where's the other one"
I said, "they only have nine"
another one on it's own flew by, and the instructor said
"there you go, the spare"
he then told me that when traveling, they went in the nine formation, so if people saw them they would instantly know it was them, the spare aircraft always flew a little behind.
Don't know if they do it now, but this was back in '82

I will not get into arguments or slanging matches Neil, but just to answer your question, yes I did English at school, I also did French and Latin.
Back on topic,
The last 16 draw looks very interesting with Germany (world champions), Spain (European champions), France, England and possibly Italy in the same half.
And Croatia did well tonight, going to be tough from now on.

the problem is European teams know how we play........
They know this because virtually every European team has premiership players in it....
tonight Skirtle (if that is how you spell it) kept us out (Liverpool)
We have no player who plays outside of the premiership, so no inside information so to speak.

With comps like this, finishing 1st or 2nd doesn't matter in my eyes (rose tinted, probably) because to win you will need to beat everyone you play in the knockout round, whether you play the best team in the last 16 round or in the final, you still have to beat them.
Still got a chance of loosing to Germany on penalties ( unless NI beat them of course)
Chin up, it's not as bad as it seems, Slovaks went out for a draw and defended, because they hope 4 points will be a good 3rd place finish.
If they went into the game to win, why did they sub a striker for a centre back......

As you can possibly see, it is a thread about football, or more importantly, a thread about England being in the European Cup Finals.
Now, call me cynical, but if a post was started, and I read it, and it was about people riding bikes round and round in circles,
I would not bother replying, because that bores me as much as golf.
So please if you are not interested in the topic of a post, do not try to belittle the people who are.

At this time your friend can throw the purse, you can catch it, push in front of the two other shoppers ( you must have two people between you and the till, one does not have to be the teller) at this time the shop assistant will be on her way back to the till at speed, and you can get the shoes........

I've seen lots of boats like that, nose into the reeds....
Most of them, in fact, all of the ones I have seen have been sail boats, and I know that not all of them were women drivers.....
