    I have a friend

    Come on Eric,

That's like me saying to the doctor, I have a friend who has a problem, what should I tell him to do about it.

You can admit that you want to buy a boat....:naughty:

  2. Moored at the Bridge Inn Acle one year,

I started my engine at about 6:45

A bloke on a private boat behind, caught my eye as he was looking at me a bit funny.

Just as my wife said "how long before the water is hot enough for me to have a shower"

He said in a very loud voice "(expletive) you should not run your engine at this time, can you have some (expletive) respect you (expletive), your wife can have a shower later"

I casually got off of the boat, started to untie and politely said....

"If I could cruise down the river to catch the tide at Yarmouth without my engine running I would, and my wife is going to have a shower en-route, and by the way I was born in wedlock, how about you"

On Saturday me and her in doors went out to our local to meet up with our friends for meal.. Anyway cut a long story short my mate has just been diagnosed with diabetes 2 and he loved his cider.. Any how in my local we have a fantastic range of ciders so due to his condition cider was a big no no.. So to be a true friend of 38 years I decided not to rub the salt in the wound and not drink cider in Front of him.. So we had a look at all the lager and bitters and spotted MENA DHU on draught... Your all wondering what...  Well it's a Cornish stout and it's beautiful pint especially served ice cold lovely smooth drink it's brewed by St Austell Brewery I do like a Guinness and I would say this is on the same level as Guinness .. So keep your eyes open for it and try it..

  4. Just had a quick look to see if my profile needed any tweaking and noticed my DOB as 6/5/65.

So went in to edit my profile to notice the drop down was correctly set to June 5th 65

As it looks written the Yank way 6/5/65 it makes me look older........as the proper (English way) is 5/6/65.

    Getting old quicker.....

  9. Any team in the world can loose a game, no team has a 100% win rate.

I do not mind England loosing to anyone, if at full time every player could look me in the eye and say they played to there best ability and I could see that on the pitch they were playing for the badge on their shirt and not the money in their bank.

    That is all I ask,

    Pride and Passion, not Payday....
