You must also be most careful...
Last year, coming down The Yare in company with Tot Thyme, Barry remonstrated with such a lot who passed us with 'throttle to the firewall'........ later to be accosted by said morons in the pub we later stopped at.
Is it worth the hassle, or indeed the danger, to point out their stupidity?

Karen, Hi and Welcome Aboard from us!
We're a friendly lot and hope you get the same enjoyment out of the Net that most of us do! Hope to see you sometime, perhaps at one of our Meets in the future?
-
Take yourself a little Honda genset along Neil (or possibly one a bit louder), you can rent them for bus fares and it's probably worth the reduction in earache from 'er indoors and just think of the annoyance you can cause at quiet mooring spots.
Or tell her you love her with frizzy hair!
-
David, oh... ...Wow...
Thanks, Pal...
-
Thanks for the kindly reminder, James.
Will you be at the Southern Meet?
-
How long do we have to put up with this, David?

Neil, Hi
47watts is 47 watts whatever the voltage... at 12V it's 4 Amps so the inverter should cope.. but you will be able to use the shore power cable we all talked about recently?

Well, this did start out as an interesting (?) technical subject. Unfortunately it's been hi-jacked by the mis-guided..

We can only give up prayers.............

Ramies spot on this is an April fools joke. Spend 5 mins reading their site and while you can see they do some pretty impressive stuff this isn't one of them. Pretty good CGI and that's all I'm afraid.Dave

Hi,Robp, welcome to the forum, you'll enjoy the broads but not at the mo as we have had several days of very windy conditions and i suspect there have been plenty of boat bashing going on..
Hi, Rob, welcome aboard for us!

Was in a well known local (Broads) caravan centre looking for a digital TV aerial. Was told by an assistant that such aerials will not work come switch-over day and that I will have to use a dish (cost of kit £130 as opposed to about £50 for an aerial. Is this true?
I've recommended these to many and ours works all over The Broads for £22!!!

The log40 is the one we have and it's worth giving them a call as they are brilliantly helpful.
I won't mix words... the assistant's a ****** at best... what utter drivel they will tell you

PM to you on that, Paul

Is this the start of something wonderful,........... or is it just John trying to sweet talk some poor innocent defenceless young waife into polishing Friday Girl?
Oh Dear, Neil... now you're in more trouble!
"Friday Girl" is named after my wife, Mary-Jane, whom I met on a blind date on a Friday! Lori polishing her?? CU soon!
