Last year, coming down The Yare in company with Tot Thyme, Barry remonstrated with such a lot who passed us with 'throttle to the firewall'........ later to be accosted by said morons in the pub we later stopped at.

Is it worth the hassle, or indeed the danger, to point out their stupidity? two gunstwo gunstwo guns

  2. Take yourself a little Honda genset along Neil (or possibly one a bit louder), you can rent them for bus fares and it's probably worth the reduction in earache from 'er indoors and just think of the annoyance you can cause at quiet mooring spots.:naughty:

  7. Hi,Robp, welcome to the forum, you'll enjoy the broads but not at the mo as we have had several days of very windy conditions and i suspect there have been plenty of boat bashing going on.. cheersbar

Hi, Rob, welcome aboard for us!

Barry, you're not wrong!!! It was pretty bad at Dilham yesterday and even worse at Wayford Bridge today! :o:o:o

  8. Was in a well known local (Broads) caravan centre looking for a digital TV aerial. Was told by an assistant that such aerials will not work come switch-over day and that I will have to use a dish (cost of kit £130 as opposed to about £50 for an aerial. Is this true?

I've recommended these to many and ours works all over The Broads for £22!!! :clap:clap:clap

The log40 is the one we have and it's worth giving them a call as they are brilliantly helpful.

How long are you down for, Paul?

That's the 3-rivers race weekend and we had planned to stay over and watch it; then come back South on Monday.

  10. Is this the start of something wonderful,........... or is it just John trying to sweet talk some poor innocent defenceless young waife into polishing Friday Girl?:lol::lol:

Oh Dear, Neil... now you're in more trouble! :clap:clap:clap

"Friday Girl" is named after my wife, Mary-Jane, whom I met on a blind date on a Friday! Lori polishing her?? CU soon! :naughty::naughty:
