  6. I was at Loddon staithe in September 2008,fishing off the boat with a friend,he caught a Sea Trout of about 3lb whilst fishing for Roach,that was a nice surprise. Where did you say that Sea mark was?

Mark If you drive through Strumpshaw,take right turn towards tip then right again to bird sanctuary,carry on to Railway crossing,(station full of gnomes),carry on untill you come to end of road,right down unmade road and stop when you get to the river,Thats Buckenham,there used to be a ferry there years ago,so I have been told

  14. Another multi named species the humble Lesser Spotted & Greater Spotted Dogfish, in chippies it is called, Rock,Rock Eel,Huss,White fish,Rock Salmon,I suppose it sounds better than "Dogfish"& Chips.

River Carp are quite shy,my son and his friend often fish for them,the main spots they have caught are,Postwick Staithe,The River Green Thorpe st Andrew,New Mills Yard and the area near Wensum Park. They have caught at all the above last season inc a 35lb at New Mills Yard being the best,they normally feed with the shoals of Bream. Good Luck
  16. The vast majority of the upper wensum is private fishing,what species are you looking to target,I will then be able to give you some good venues I am local and live in Norwich so I am familar with the waters.

  18. Nice to see you all admiring the cathedral in Norwich,I was born in Norwich and lived there all my life,therefore its beauty is seen daily. Did you know that it was built on a foundation of reeds or straw?

  21. Send me a PM where you are likely to be,and I will tell you some good fisheries to go to near your boat,there are plenty within 30 minutes of anywhere on the broads. I am on holiday that week so unfortunately I cannot join you,believe it or not I am taking my caravan to Dorset for the week,quite close to you,at Corfe Mullen,just off the main road behind the Garage and Little Chef.
  22. My rods are out tomorrow,off to Barford Lakes for some "Puddle Chucking",weather forecast sunny might put the shorts on,but then again might not.
  23. Clive Fantastic pictures of your grandad with the Pike,I bet you feel proud of him catching fish like that. Keep them coming we all love to see them,super Perch amongst them ,how big was that?
