+1 for Marine Teak. We bought a folding table with the mariners compass in the middle at the Horning Boat Show. Good quality and Luke is a good guy to deal with.
Nick and Tanya are great at BW - so helpful and full of advice. Patient too

+1 for Tom at JPC. He fitted our Webasto 5500 Airtop which has five outlets, digital frost thermostat etc. Very helpful.

We were told while in the Maldives, the rats were called 'land squirrels'!!

Any ideas on where the best place is to park for this?
We are on the Minerva sailing but I reckon it's going to be a nightmare to park.

I have been told the building cannot get insurance against fire, as the fire engines cannot get over the railway.
The track to the pub and the moorings is mainly concrete and pretty rough in places and not indicated. The concrete runs out before you get to the pub and is then very bumpy. There are lots of farm gates to go through, many of which are for livestock. There is also one particular drainage ditch right next to the track for a stretch. You do need to know where you are going otherwise it is easy to get lost.
You have to cross the railway twice and one of the crossings is very high causing longer vehicles to ground out (i.e. the fire engines). Presumably the drays are shorter. Remember you are on private property and only authorised vehicles are allowed.

Forum club house if we had a whip-round..?

Love being aboard when it's cold. January last year was -10 overnight and eight inches of snow all around. The Webasto cranked up, toasty and cosy

We have to promote and support our local business' where we can.
Totally agree.
At work, I get lots of marketing phone calls. My first question is 'are you a Norfolk-based business?' If the answer is yes, then I will listen some more.

Nice to hear a good review. We also had a good meal there last year. There are some mixed reviews around, but we liked it. Very welcoming.

Especially with Coldham Hall and Water's Edge close by, both of which have plenty of good condition moorings; it seems they are putting themselves at a disadvantage.

So true - we used to go there most sunday evenings to finish off the weekend, but we have kept clear since the quay heading looks so dodgy. They must be losing so much business; we cannot be the only ones.
Shame - my kids say the burgers were excellent, and we are so keen to support local businesses.

Thanks Peter. We can't get under the bridge, but have been up there by rib.
A beautiful piece of water up there, and a good reminder to explore some more.

Where is Shipmeadow? Not heard of this one...

100% goose down duvets and pillows, flat sheets wrapped under. i would advise the same as you have at home; why have anything less comfortable?

Love it. Boats being used as they are supposed to be used.
Looks like a super few days.

Still there this evening!

I have one of these. Suction fit to the top of the outboard. Wobbles a bit, but works.

Hello everyone
Quick reminder about the quiz at 8pm this evening.

Thank you
One of them has part of it as a gas locker, but they're really handy to store the usual junk inside. i am quite tempted to convert one into a drinks fridge.
The boxes were made by a fisherman I found via eBay (yes, really!), the lids, backs & supports were made by me and then padded & covered by Jeckells.
