  1. Kings Arms, Sandford - front of our boat just visible on the left of pic.
  2. Folly Bridge, Oxford - Downstream navigation arch.
  3. Osney Bridge, Oxford. Very similar to Beccles Old Road, and a similar clearance as well
  4. Ha'penny Bridge, Lechlade - wild mooring beyond
  5. The Swan at Radcot (opposite bank to the previous pic)
  6. Outside a pub - The Rose Revived at Newbridge
  7. Some pics from our 1995 Thames holiday, first week in October. The boat was Maid of Chertsey from Richardson's at Wallingford. It was a very leisurely week up to the head of navigation just above Lechlade and back. I think it was 20 locks each way, so a total of 40 locks in the week. It was very quiet - we only shared a lock with another boat on one occasion each way and only had to wait for one boat to leave a lock a handful of times. Wild mooring at Clifton Hampden
  8. Chris I think you will find its a reprint. I have the same one which I purchased from Blakes in 1997. They printed 1500 (mine is number 866). If you look on the rear of the slipcase it should have No. ? of 1500. They also reprinted 1908 and 1916 brochures at the same time, plus some reprints of 1920s to 1950s Broads railway posters. Still, a worthwhile historical item for Broads enthusiasts to own.
  9. A dual steer 38 in Maidline's Wallingford fleet from a 1999 brochure - the fleet was owned by Richardson's by then.
  10. A Woods 38ft ft version on the Yare at Beauchamp, October 84.
  11. Or, as in the case of one narrowboat we had a share in, somebody had installed an extra cig socket and managed to reverse the polarity.
  12. Isn't that on the other side of the gated fence across the towpath (for want of a better word).
  13. A year earlier (1994) a very similar brochure, based at Easticks. Norfolk Broads Holidays and Lewis & Hughes on the cover but the name Coral Craft appears inside. Different pennant though.
