Hi it is sad to see private owners off ex hire boats to be left to rot away they should be ashamed off them selves.ive noticed some off the old wooden ex hire boats are in a very poor sight who ever owns them needs shooting as the old wooden boats are part off our broads heritage

I used to have hearts b4 they closed down.been going with them for 10yrs.not many hire boats moor there due to the bridges i had trouble getting in and out off boatyard

Jeff san marino is ex hire boat from ferry boatyard at horning called ferry oceaneer just checked on the norfolk broads data base

The alpha 32 centre cockpit frm alan johnson is SHEENA and now operating frm herbert woods

Broadscot the san marino was from ferry boatyard at horning she was called ferry oceaneer before she became the san marinos.i should know i use to go with ferry boatyard i had the commandeers 1&2,pioneers 1&2 and the oceaneers 1&2 The commandeers are at herbert woods oceaneers at richardsons pioneers were at richardsons now been sold to private buyers

Alan johnsons boats were based at acle.when he retired the boatyard was renaned ACLE FERRYBOATS which were blakes the yard only lasted a year or two

Clives boats having a good make over saw the superior gem today thought she was orange not anymore shes white and blue.love the new look keep it up clive.cant wait till next year RICHARDSONS here i come
