  1. There's a bleedin' great cobweb outside Lady Emma's Heads port hole
  2. It didn't come home but we had a great time watching it.... Strapped a TV to the back of the boat, lit the bbq and sunk a few cold ones......The result wasn't quite what we wanted but what a cracking evening we had
  3. All the best for a speedy recovery. If you're still in the hospital Sunday......Hope you have a TV in your en suite room
  4. Near Boundary Farm... Acle Bridge Inn... Opposite Bridgecraft.......Who's bald head is that I wonder My Brother at the helm... My mate Cap'n Stu at the helm... Had a great five days on board with great friends and family....Thanks to the Acle Bridge Inn, The Ferry Inn (Stokesby) The White Horse Upton and The Lion at Thurne for good food, beer and hospitality
  5. A few photos from the weekend at the British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton .
  6. Just a bit of fun. Knocked this up to reflect on our return to boating this Spring after lockdown. Music kindly composed and recorded by my Brother .....That gets round the copyright issues
  7. Yes indeed.....Problem for me is usually timing tides to get under the Yarmouth bridges when I’m up here. I stay on board when I’m working in Norfolk and it doesn’t always work out right. I will be at some point though this season, even if it is just to giver her an Italian tune up over Breydon
  8. The Navigation light mast lowers but not the radar. Even if it did, it’s just over 9’ to the roof line from the water so not very doable ! We knew that would be the case when we bought her but the plans are for salty action as well as the Broads. It was a compromise we were happy to make as we have cruised the Ant many times in our last two boats .
  9. Well, if I tried to take Lady Emma under there she would have indeed been scalped as well!
  10. She's still got her kit off tonight
  11. Fridge now all in. I think flush mounting it was worth the effort .
  12. Just realised the typo......Bait, not bate doh!!!
  13. There's a click bate title for you Well, it's more backless than topless but you get the idea. Lovely Bank Holiday weather so far.
  14. Don’t I know it . The fridge will be restocked with my usual favs on my return
  15. Just an update. Fridge is in................Sort of! Well, it's up and running so that's all good. What I thought would be a straight swap turned out to be anything but. The bulkhead behind the fridge had an opening that allowed some of the old fridge to pass through. The old fridge sat proud in it's fixing as to open it the catch was on the top of the door. The new fridge has it's door mechanism on the front so I thought, wouldn't it be nice to flush mount it. So.......I bought a flush mounting kit. What I had forgotten in my excitement was to allow for that extra inch of depth that was now needed. Luckily, my friend and boat neighbour here lives local and had a jigsaw at home. Well, a few broken blades later (six!!!!) and we just had a little more to cut when his Jigsaw decided to get hot, make horrible noises and commit Hari-kari. So......Fridge at this moment is freestanding. I will be up again this Bank Holiday armed with a new jigsaw to replace my friends deceased one, plus my one for finishing the job. The good news though.................Beer is cold once more on board Lady Emma Don't blame me for the choice of beer, it's all I had
  16. This arrived in the post today. Will be going on the clock & barometer tomorrow.......After I've installed the fridge and watched the Grand Prix
  17. Sorry, Broken fridge has gone to the great scrapyard in the sky !
  18. Luckily the door is pre hung the same as the old one fridge.....One less job to do
  19. Taken with iPhone11 and edited in Lightroom
  20. New fridge arrives tomorrow. JPC sadly didn't have any in stock so it's coming from Jacksons Leisure Supplies. It's an Isotherm Cruise 49 elegance for anyone interested. It was £505 plus another £49 for the flush fitting kit. I'll be fitting it over next weekend hopefully
  21. I think this is a case of “Who ate all the pies?”
