Pennant arrived by post today. Thanks for the prompt service, I think maybe I should head over to Potter to fit it now…😎

Thank you,
I am on the boat this week but took the precaution of bringing some shop bits and envelopes with me just in case.
I will post it out to you in the morning.
Thanks, but there is no hurry. Please post it at your convenience. Cheers…😎

I had a Webasto on Chiltern Lady, it needed repairing, but sadly parts were no longer available (it was 1995 vintage). I was surprised at the cost of a replacement unit, so went for the Autoterm (Planar UK) heater. It fitted the existing exhaust and air ducts and diesel connections (thanks to Paul, Muddy Waters for his help in fitting). I’ve been pleased with the performance of this 4Kw heater and would recommend it.
Hope that helps Maurice Mynah…😎

Not saying I would though
I moor there quite often, handy for me going to Carrow Road…😎

I don't know but I feel sure we would have heard if there had been any action taken.
Fred
I did say I would let the forum know if the was any further action taken, I can confirm there’s been none despite my persistent mooring and failing to pay…😎

What fitting is it? Butane I assume, I have a half full 13 bottle of similar age but can't find a fitting for it as it's 20mm not the usual 21mm and I think the depth is different from any 20mm fittings around.
If I could find the right fitting I could decant the gas into 4.5kg bottles.
Boulters may be able to help with the 20mm fittings…😎

Nice to see the Dilham North Walsham canal has the approval of a seal.
Is that the seal of approval…😎

This boat overtook us yesterday between How Hill and Ludham Bridge. We all went through the bridge at 8’ + a bit …😎

The shore based admiral had a rare trip out with me yesterday. She assumed Chiltern Lady had air-con. We went to BartonBroad and caught a little bit of breeze…😎

I would be more likely to believe in net zero if I could see more new buildings with solar panels…😎

The Highways Agency said the A11 works between the Tuttles and Spooner Row interchanges would open northbound on 22nd August and southbound 25th August, so slightly ahead of that. Meanwhile there are still some full overnight closures (8 pm to 6 am)
29/08, 07/09 to 11/09 and 14/09 to 15/09 the southbound carriageway from Thickthorn to Attleborough and
30/08 to 01/09 and 04/09 to 06/09 the northbound carriageway from Attleborough to Thickthorn.
It will be good if all the confusing diversion signs can be removed, sometimes you approach a roundabout and the signs point both first exit and third exit…😎

Cheers, I’ll have a look tomorrow…😎

I’ve got one of these onboard Chiltern Lady, never used it since I tried to recharge an electric toothbrush, it, the shaver socket, got very hot…🥵
Would the best things to do be to just disconnect it, or does the wiring need to be traced all the way back and removed?

Wow, just wow…😎

Could be anything. I’d budget about £3,500-5,000 p.a. to cover moorings, river toll, insurance, maintenance and some running costs…😎

Well, that’s something to look forward to 🤬
It’s harsh on top of all the previous years increases, but I don’t expect much sympathy. After all we must all be minted…😎
